The Long Term Agreement shall contain a break clause in the event of any significant changes to the Authority introduced by Central Government or other bodies that would make the continuance of the Long Term Agreement unsuitable for the Authority.
The Authority may during the contract period as a member of the South East & Eastern Region Police Insurance Consortium (SEERPIC) participate in the renewal of annual insurance via SEERPIC for Oct 2013 or Oct 2015. The Authority is seeking to establish insurance cover for Combined Liability (Casualty) and Motor Fleet Long Term Agreement of 1 year with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the Authority’s discretion.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Organisations must be an insurance company registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to underwrite insurance business of the type for each Lot described at Annex B within the EC Member States.
Organisations must be an insurance company authorised to write the classes of insurnance listed within the EC Member States subject to English/Welsh Law and Jurisdiction of the English/Welsh Courts. Organisations may be requested to provide a certificate issued by the appropriate insurance regulatory body indicating types of business they are authorised to write.
Reference to the relevant law, regulation or administrative provision: Organisations will be Insurance Companies authorised to write classes of insurance listed at Annex B within the EC Member States subject to English/Welsh Law and jurisdiction of English/Welsh courts. The service will be regulated by the provisions of the Insurance Companies Act 1982 and any modifications thereof.
