Our intention is to work with a provider to create a first class Integrated Care Services Hub facility to provide a range of services to adults, primarily older people, including care and support, information and advice to address a wider spectrum of care needs than has traditionally been available within one facility. The service will involve the direct provision of residential and nursing care services, together with the provision of accommodation to facilitate the provision of other services in order to deliver the vision of integrated care.

Requests to participate will be accepted from groupings of economic operators (consortia). In the event of a successful consortium bid, the contracting authority may specify that the consortium membership takes a particular legal form and/or require that a single consortium member takes primary liability or that each member undertakes joint and several liability irrespective of the legal form adopted. Where a subsidiary company is used, the ultimate parent company may be required to provide a guarantee in respect of the performance of the contract by the subsidiary before acceptance.
