The delivery of Sunderland Integrated Drug and Alcohol Recovery and Harm Minimisation Service that aims to provide an integrated model and places service users, their families and carers, at the heart of the recovery process.

The service will take a recovery focused approach to enable people to improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential.

The service will be delivered using the principles of a whole system approach which will comprise of the following 5 broad areas of activity:

— access to specialist drug and alcohol harm minimisation,

— identification and support for higher risk drinkers,

— structured treatment for adults who are dependent on drugs or alcohol,

— support for system integrated working,

— completion and recovery.

All tender documents are available via this portal. The Council will be using the open procurement procedure, tenders must be returned before 12.00 noon 29.11.2019 in accordance with the ITT instructions. As part of the tender process Sunderland City Council intend to hold a supplier briefing on 29.10.2019 at Sunderland Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland, SR2 7DN, Committee Room 4 at 13.30 p.m. You should confirm your intention to attend direct to tanya.renshaw@sunderland.gov.uk by no later than 25.10.2019 and/or to confirm there have been no amendments to this schedule.
