Minimum level(s) of standards required:
Potential participant (or any of its sub contractors) to only use Interpreters who have appropriate registration — DPSI for community language and SASLI and NRCPD for BSL and must be able to evidence that these skills are maintained.
Potential participant (or any of its sub contractors) must provide evidence that it is meeting the Public Sector Equality Duty or the general principles set out in the Equality Act 2010.
Potential participant (or any of its sub contractors) must provide evidence that they have assessed how the services they provide impact on people with a protected characteristic(s). This should be in the form of and Equality Impact Assessment or similar assessment.
Potential participant (or any of its sub contractors) must provide evidence that employees/staff have regular training to keep them up to date with Equality and Diversity and current legal requirements.
Potential participant (or any of its sub contractors) must fully comply with the Data Protection Act.

Contract for Interpretation and Translation Services (Face to Face and British Sign Language (BSL)) for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year at various sites across Tayside.
