Description of the contract

Expressions of Interest: Options appraisal for the investment in the Council’s housing stock The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (the Council) and Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) both have ambitions to improve the housing stock beyond the minimum standard to a standard desired by residents and to regenerate some of our estates. Self financing has ended the rent pooling regime and there is greater certainty over the HRA in the long term. However there are several investment needs in the housing stock which need to be addressed in the short to medium term. It is within the context that the Council is looking at ways to secure investment to maintain and improve the housing stock and potentially regenerate our estates. This is an invitation to express an interest in the provision of an option appraisal for the council’s housing stock. The Council wishes to examine the options that are available to it to lever the maximum investment into its homes to renew, regenerate and repair for current and future generations of Council tenants.
