Invitation to Quote for Family Group Conferencing Service

Description

Quotes are invited for the provision of a Family Group Conferencing Service (FGC).

FGC is intended to facilitate and support wider family members developing an appropriate plan to support children and young people remaining within their birth family safely, reducing the need for admission to care and family disruption.

FGC will be delivered;
– in community settings to afford choice and flexibility of meeting times. The settings for delivery will be developed by the provider in consultation with integrated early intervention services
– by the completion of a FGC involving all the relevant family members who have a role to play in developing a plan for the child or young person
– by staff with relevant skills and experience in FGC and family mediation

The provider will be responsible for arranging suitable venues, providing refreshments, transport and childcare as required.

During the contract period the service is expected to offer a minimum of three FGCs up to a maximum of 15. However there is no guarantee of any minimum number of FGCs to be provided under this contract.

Bidders will be expected to have as a minimum:
– valid Public Liability insurance of £5million
– the necessary policies in place for Health and Safety, Equalities, Environmental, Safeguarding and Data Protection
– Three references from previous customers that relate directly to previous experience in the past 3 years of delivering Family Group Conferencing and that evidence:
1. previous experience delivering FGC services for children and young people
2. engagement with vulnerable and hard to reach groups
3. positive engagement with children and young people and their families including to shape and develop services

To be selected and evaluated against the award criteria stated within the quotation document.
