The Isle of Wight Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified providers for the provision of Signage. The contract is to run from May 2017 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years at the sole discretion of the Authority.
This contract will cover forms of signage including, but not limited to, Corporate Building Signage, Parking, Rights of Way, Licensing and Recreation Leisure and Public Spaces. Although we are unable to quantify the number or type of signs the specification document provides further details and examples of our requirements. Some signs will be required on ‘supply only’ basis and others will require installation. Hence this tender is listed as supplies, although services will form a smaller part.

The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 which came into force on 1.1.2005 applies to the Council. If any tenderer considers that any information supplied is commercially sensitive/confidential, this should be highlighted and reasons given. A schedule is provided in ITT documents where tenderers can record and submit this information to the Council. In such cases the relevant material will, in response to FOI requests, be examined in light of exemptions provided for in this act. The contract shall be made in English and according to English Law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. Any values listed in II.1.5) and II.2.6) are estimates only and II.2.7) indicates for the whole potential contract period.
