Description of the contract

Background Our client currently has a contract that is based on: one prime supplier; output based pricing; an ecosystem of suppliers managed by the prime supplier. This contract is driven by delivery metrics and focuses on delivery to service levels / KPIs / project targets within cost. This contract is being transformed into one based on the current prime supplier becoming the ‘long term’ Service/Systems Integrator driving value based measures with responsibility for systems integration into the client’s estate, service transition and releases. There will be multiple ‘towers’ of service ordinarily provided by different suppliers. As a result of this change Information Management Services (IMS) will need to implement a different operating model. To enable these changes to take place the need to recruit an IT Commercial Manager has arisen. You will need to have expertise in SLAs (service level agreements) for a Systems & Service Integrator. This role is a 3 month contract for up to 12 days (adhoc) per month to support the project as they reach a key milestone. The role may also involve some travel (approximately once a month to London). Main Duties/ Responsibilities – Provide support on existing pieces of work – Coaching and mentoring – Supporting with contract negotiations (best practice – including meeting preparation) – External best practice Outputs/ Deliverables to be achieved You will be required to play a significant part in redesigning what the service level management agreement / framework will look like Skills/ Experience Required The ideal individual will have: – Experience of working with System and Service Integrator (SSI) environments – Significant experience in both large client side and large supplier side organisations working to define and implement SLA and OLAs – Experience of working in service management roles with experience of managing performance against SLAs and OLAs. – Experience of supporting contractual negotiations
