A reputable and experienced supplier is sought, who is able to demonstrate a consistent and successful trackrecord in providing IT technology services, both in delivering regular and routine functions and working with customers on specific one-off schemes and projects. Typical services the Trust will require will include:

Main hospital site is at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth PO6 3LY with a few other peripheral sites in the Portsmouth and surrounding area.
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
A reputable and experienced supplier is sought, who is able to demonstrate a consistent and successful track record in providing IT technology services support, both in delivering regular and routine functions and working with customers on specific one-off schemes and projects. Typical services the Trust will require will include:
• strategy and service design consultancy: providing access to specialist resources to support needs ranging from business capability assessment through to specification of applications and toolsets.
• transition and transformation: providing access to resources to support implementation and deployment of strategy and services, programme and project support and legacy system/service decommissioning.
• operational services and support: providing access to resources to support services, processes and tools required to manage technology provision including end user support, operational maintenance and security, supply chain management and data management. Specifically this will include requirements for 24/7 hardware break and fix support and an IT incident management service.
• specialist resources and services: provision of access to specialist resources and service, including but not limited to IT security and software and app development.

The core contract term will be 36 months with two 12-month optional extension periods to give maximum contract duration of 60 months.

A minimum of 5 candidates, if there at least 5 that are deemed suitably experienced and qualified, will be chosen based on submitted responses to the selection questionnaire.

This PIN and accompanying RFI were for market engagement purposes only and Candidates wishing to respond to this opportunity now do not need to have seen or responded to this earlier PIN..
