Jisc, and Jisc Collections and Janet Limited, are parent and subsidiary organisations which employ c300 staff across seven core sites in the UK with a number of mobile and remote staff. Our current office telephone system is provided and supported by Voicenet Solutions Limited, with mobile telephony and data services being predominantly provided and supported by Vodafone. We would like to make cost savings and provide enhanced functionality and flexibility for our staff. Certain telephony suppliers have partnered with Janet to provide SIP trunks via the Janet network. We are therefore running a mini competition via the Janet Telephony Purchasing System.

A 3 year contract, with the option to extend by a further 2 years, to include: 1. Supply of a fully managed integrated platform for fixed line voice via SIP technologies. This should include the transfer of our existing DDI ranges to the new service. 2. Connection to a reliable and stable network with guarantees that quality of service will be maintained for all telephone calls at all times 3. A combined monthly bill that is accurate, clear and easy to understand and on a single invoice 4. Access to our account 24/7 365 days a year.
