Description of the goods or services required

CITB wishes to procure a Scottish multi-supplier framework that comprises a range of suitably qualified and experienced Providers who between them, can be commissioned from time to time to deliver Services for the provision of:

LOT 1: Off the Job Training for Apprentices following the Modern Apprenticeship National Training Programme, with the aim in supporting Employers in developing their workforce through the delivery of qualifications for those eligible in 2014-2017, subject to Employer demand, SDS funding and volume allocations. The programme currently provides funding for employees in varying regions across Scotland as detailed in the ITT undertaking the construction industry related trade qualifications, which is a contribution to the cost of training. CITB Scotland procured business in excess of £2.3 million with Providers in 2013/2014

And/or LOT 2: Off the Job Delivery of Skills Testing, with this procurement seeking to establish a network of Providers throughout Scotland delivering Skills Tests to apprentices on behalf of all managing agencies. Skills tests are an Industry assessment of occupational competence taken by apprentices who wish to practise in their relevant craft. CITB Scotland procured business in excess of £250,000 with Providers in 2013/2014

The framework of Providers will be established for a period of 3 years with the option of extension by a further 2 years to be reviewed annually.

To ensure compliance with procurement law, none of our personnel can assist or advise you in the completion of the tender documentation other than to respond to formal queries raised in accordance with the process defined in the ITT documents.

A workshop will be held at the Stirling Management Centre, Stirling University to respond to enquiries and the date of this will be confirmed to those who have intimated an interest in submitting a tender and returned an event confirmation form.
