4. Description: Building construction work. Construction work for buildings relating to education and research. Construction work for school buildings. The works comprise c. 276m2 of new build extension in a 3 storey bock linked to the Key Stage 2 building; areas of internal remodelling to the existing Key Stage 2, Key Stage 1 and Nursery buildings; erection of external canopies to form covered play areas, and a series of internal and external refurbishment. The works also include the replacement of boilers for more efficient modern equipment and a significant quantity of photovoltaic (PV) panels. The proposals incorporate a passenger lift that will make the existing two-storey Key Stage 2 Building accessible to wheelchair users.
