Midland Heart is seeking 2-3 contractors to deliver a Kitchen and Bathroom installation and supply of Bathrooms contract (further detail to be provided at ITT stage). The installers will be required to utilise the Kitchen supply contract set up by Midland Heart details of which will be provided to the successful bidders. The contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend annually for a further 3 years. The contract scope is for all of Midland Hearts properties across a wide geographical spread reaching from Stoke to Milton Keynes and Hereford to Leicester (map available at PQQ stage contractors must be able to deliver across entire geography)

Midland Heart is seeking 2-3 contractors to deliver kitchen and bathroom installation and supply of bathrooms contract. The installers will be required to utilise the Kitchen supply contract set up by Midland Heart details of which will be provided to the successful bidders. The contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend annually for a further 3 years. The contract scope is for all of Midland Hearts properties across a wide geographical spread reaching from Stoke to Milton Keynes and Hereford to Leicester.

Estimated value below is for the 2 year contract duration and works on the basis of ca. 600 bathrooms installed per annum and 1 200-1 600 kitchens installed per annum.

Description of particular conditions: Suppliers who satisfy any of the criteria for rejection set out in Regulation 23(1) Public Contract Regulations 2006 shall be treated as ineligible. Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: Suppliers will be required to complete a pre qualification questionnaire describing how they meet the minimum criteria as identified below.
Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Suppliers shall be aware that to be considered eligible for selection, the Supplier (as stand alone business unit, not a Group) must be able to demonstrate a minimum annual turnover equivalent to GBP 6 000 000 GBP p.a. in respect of the most recent financial year for which audited accounts are available. Suppliers who do not meet this minimum turnover requirement are requested not to apply and will not have their submission evaluated. Suppliers are required to provide their most recent 2 year’s audited accounts. A risk assessment will be carried out against these accounts and a score applied based on 5 being low risk and 0 being incomplete and high risk using the following assessment criteria — Net current liabilities, Falls in turnover, Gross profit margin, Liquidated assets, Overdraft, Loan, Tax/VAT liability, CCJs, Interest Cover, Operating profit margin.
Suppliers will be required to hold the following levels of Insurance — Public Liability and Products Liability 5 000 000 GBP, Employers Liability 5 000 000 GBP, Professional Indemnity 1 000 000 GBP.
