Land Use Strategy: Delivery Evaluation Project

Description of the goods or services required

The Scottish Government Rural Analytical Unit, on behalf of Natural Resources Division, Rural Directorate, wishes to externally commission work to provide evidence to Ministers on the effectiveness of the approach set out in the Land Use Strategy with regard to delivering the Strategy’s principles.

The aim of the project is to evaluate a range of current land use delivery mechanisms, to ascertain their effectiveness in translating the strategic principles of the Land Use Strategy into decision making on the ground. The study will assess a range of different processes (already underway or about to start) which should be utilising the principles of the Land Use Strategy (LUS) in their decision making
