Laundry-collection services. Laundry management services. Laundry operation services. Due to the nature of certain aspects of work undertaken by SPT employees, it is necessary for SPT to arrange provision of a fully managed laundry, inspection and repair service contract for workwear & PPE.
Collection/return of these items will be required to be scheduled on a weekly basis with quantities and types of garments varying from week to week.
The majority of the items which will utilise this provision are High Visibility garments including garments with Flame retardant protection. These garments have a specific laundering instruction to preserve/prolong the life/integrity of the garment, therefore the need for this fully managed service has been highlighted.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
