You are invited to attend Nottingham City Council’s Alternative Provider Forum

Nottingham City Council is seeking alternative education services to support young people’s progression into post 16 education, employment or training (EET). Nottingham City Council along side Unity Learning Centre is therefore holding an Alternative Provider Forum on Monday 26th March 2012.

This event will:
• outline Unity Learning Centre’s service and aims
• advise of forthcoming tender opportunity
• let you know what we are looking for in our providers including outcomes for our young people
• give you an opportunity for Q&A and networking with us and fellow providers

We would like to engage with potential providers who have experience in working with young people to develop and manage innovative training solutions for young people aged 14-16 who are permanently excluded from school and require an alternative education.

We are seeking to contract on the basis of outcomes and encourage creative and innovative approaches to new service models to be developed by providers. Nottingham City Council is keen to encourage new providers to enter the market place, and we would be open to providers who may want to work with other providers on a collaborative, subcontracted or partnership basis.

Due to space limitations we kindly request that you total no more than two representatives from your organisation. Depending on the number of attendees we have yet to determine the exact location for this event however it will be in Nottingham City and will be communicated to attendees prior to the event. Should you be unable to attend we can make slides available after the event upon request. This event is for information only and will not form part of any tender exercise.

If you would like to book a place at the event, or are interested in finding out more, please contact Frances Rowland, Principal Contracts Officer by email at frances.rowland@nottinghamcity.gov.uk or telephone her on 0115 8764601.
