Thurrock Council has a desire to develop and provide opportunities to individuals with impairments to improve their life skills within a shared accommodation space with a view to living as independently as possible within their communities.
The Council wishes to appoint a provider to continue a service that uses 4 local authority properties to provide accommodation (with the provision of support). Each service user will have their own room within a shared house, receiving tailored packages of support, with a view to them ultimately attaining the skills necessary to move on into their own accommodation in the community.
