Provision of a Service To ensure as far as possible that the risk of Legionella is controlled and minimised in the building water services within West Midlands Police premises.
The scope of the Contractual requirements are as follows:
-Production of risk assessments.
-The provision of AutoCAD plans showing the location of all hot and cold water plant and systems and selected schematic diagrams.
-The provision of a secure web based log book and management system.
-Setting up a monitoring and audit schedule with regular reports to ensure that items of non-compliance are communicated at the earliest opportunity enabling remedial actions to be quickly undertaken. Testing and advice on dosing requirement are to be included.
-Cleaning and disinfection of cisterns, calorifiers, shower heads and hoses.
-Servicing of thermostatic mixing valves.
-Ensuring that all of the requirements of all relevant legislation, Health & Safety documentation, Guidance Notes and Technical Advisory documents are complied with.
