Provision of water hygiene services which will ensure that the relevant installations/systems are maintained to the highest quality standards in compliance with ACOP L8.
The Contract will include the following:
A. Legionella control programme for buildings specified in Appendix A (list of maintained properties) to include:
— Periodic water temperature monitoring,
— Periodic TMV temperature monitoring,
— Periodic calorifier/water heater inspections,
— Periodic tank inspections,
— Periodic shower cleaning and chlorination,
— Cleaning of tanks/systems (subject to inspections),
— Water hygiene risk assessment or review for all buildings,
— Reporting of work and remedial activities carried out.
Assist the employer with the setting up and running of a database for water hygiene and the marking/numbering of all outlets, tanks, calorifiers.
Provide professional advice and recommendations to the employer.
