Description of the contract

To provide RCVS Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing Equine/Small Animal courses as follows: LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN VETERINARY NURSING – RVN EQUINE To provide places for 2 Student Veterinary Nurses (Equine) on a 2 year Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing Equine course. Course content to be approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and approved examination bodies. Course to commence in May 14 to and May 16 inclusive of 60 week clinical placements. The provider will need to be an RCVS Approved Training and Assessment Centre. and LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN VETERINARY NURSING – RVN SMALL ANIMAL To provide places for 4 Student Veterinary Nurses (Small Animal) on a 2 year Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Small Animal) course. Course content to be approved by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and approved examination bodies. Course to commence in May 14 to May 16 inclusive of 60 week clinical placements. The provider will need to be an RCVS Approved Training and Assessment Centre. The Training Centre needs to be within a 70 miles radius of Melton Mowbray. The Training Centre must provide the 60 week clinical placement. The training is to start in May 2014 or the provider is to advise the earliest start date. The tender may result in different providers being selected for the small animal requirement as opposed to the equine. All interested suppliers must complete the statement relating to good standing and advise what the pass rate is for this course over the last 3 years.
