Lift-maintenance services. Stevenage Borough Council is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to provide comprehensive servicing and maintenance to lft equipment within our sheltered schemes and residential buildings. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further additional 12 month period. At time of writing there are approximately 34 passenger lifts, 200 stairlifts, 1 hoist, 2 rise & fall tables and 1 dumbwaiter hoist. The schedule of lift equipment will be subject to change throughout the contract as lifts come in or out of service for varying reasons. The contract does not include lift refurbishment.

Payments will be in pounds sterling and will normally be required to be made by means of electronic funds transfer. Full details will be included in the tender documents.

As per tender documents any contract awarded is required to be with a single legal entity on the part of the successful candidate/s. Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
