Cheshire East Council is holding several market engagement sessions for providers interested in the forthcoming recommission of the ‘Lifts and Hoists Maintenance Service’.
Individual 45 minute sessions will take place, throughout the day, via MS Teams on Wednesday 27th and Friday 29th January 2021.
The purpose of these sessions is to provide an overview of the current service delivery, together with our plans for recommissioning. These sessions will also give organisations an opportunity to shape our approach.
The service will provide maintenance of lifts and ceiling track hoists for residents in the local Borough. This will also encompass:
- Servicing of this equipment
- Testing of this equipment
- Removal of items no longer required
- Storage of these items and reinstallation of these items (where appropriate)
We expect the contract to be for an initial three-year period, with the possibility of two further one-year extensions, commencing in July 2021. A two-month period has been timetabled for contract mobilisation.
The projected budget for the service is circa £100K per annum.
