Description
Lincolnshire County Council, in a partnership with Procurement Lincolnshire and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, has been successful in securing £251,000 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to help stimulate the Lincolnshire Economy by developing and supporting supply chains within the County’s Key Sectors.
The Lincolnshire Supply Chain Initiative (LiSCI) will support indigenous businesses located within the PA2 areas of Lincolnshire to procure and trade locally, strengthen their own supply chains, and assist SMEs to assess and increase their business through these supply chains. Focusing on the county’s key sectors, the project will strengthen the knowledge and ability of Lincolnshire SMEs that have the potential to join the supply chains of some of the County’s largest private and public sector organisations.
Through a combination of one to one support and workshops, SMEs will be supported to develop cost effective procurement practices, as well as putting mechanisms in place to make sure that they are ready to win contracts with large, private sector businesses as well as with the County’s local authorities. Participating SMEs will be signposted to suitable opportunities identified through the Supply Chain Development Analysis.
Tenders are invited for the supply of services in respect the Lincolnshire Supply Chain Development including 1-1 capacity building support as well as mapping and analysis of Lincolnshire’s major businesses and their supply chains.
