The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver cycle training and cycling related services. The contract will be divided into 2 (two) lots to cover different specialism and requirements:
Lot 1: School Cycle Training; and
Lot 2: Adult and Family Cycle Training.
Organisations will be able to tender for one or more lots.

The core aim of the school cycle training programme is to ensure that as many ten (10) and eleven (11) year old children in the borough can cycle safely on road by achieving Bikability Level 2 in line with National Bikeability Guidelines May 2019
A secondary aim of the programme is to get more children making trips by bike, especially on the journey to and from school. We currently train approximately 1 600 children in 44 of LBH primary schools with a potential to work in more primary schools, this training is carried out through the school year with greater numbers of children being trained in the autumn and summer terms.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The core aim of adult and family cycle training is to deliver cyclist training at weekends and some during week to adults over sixteen (16) who would like beginner, refresher or confidence booster sessions in small groups, also for families who would like to learn as a family group. We currently run five (5) cycle training sessions at Lampton Park weekly on Saturday mornings and Wednesday lunchtime and a further two (2) sessions weekly at Osterley Park.
