The London Borough of Waltham Forest is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (‘DPS’) to procure and commission Personal Home Support for adults and children. This will cover services in the following categories: Adults’ Personal Home Support 18+, Adults’ Learning Disability 18+, Adults’ Mental Health 18+, Adults’ Physical Sensory Impairment 18+, Adults’ Substance Misuse 18+, Adults’ Dementia Care 18+, Adult’s Carers Respite 18+, Children’s Ongoing Personal Care Support 0-18, Children’s Early Intervention/Short-Term Care and Support 0-18 and Children’s Carers Respite 0-18.
The DPS places a strong focus on outcomes for adults and children with the objective of ensuring that their needs and aspirations are met. The principles of personalisation will be embedded within contracts and the system should enable the Council to facilitate greater choice, flexibility and personalisation for adults and children using services, as well as drive improvements in quality in the market. Due to the nature of the services that the Council is seeking to procure, requirements may be subject to change or amendment, falling within any of the categories specified. Providers are invited to register their interest in one, more than one, or all of the categories.
