Description of the goods or services required

The Contracting Authority is seeking to appoint up to 4 suitably qualified providers (per lot) onto a framework for the provision of a long term care in patients homes for a variety of medical conditions (the “Services”), 1) Spinal Injuries, 2) Brain Injuries, 3) Ventilated Patients, 4) Domicillary Care Packages. The Contracting Authority is committed to improving the quality of life for people recovering from a major illness and to provide them with the opportunity to live more independently in the community, and to provide people with the opportunities to live fulfilled lives on an ‘as required’ call off basis. Further details are set out in memorandum of information (MOI) which is available on request (see Annex 2 of this notice for further details)

This Framework Agreement will require tenderers to provide a high quality service to patients in a Community Setting with the following conditions:-

Lot 1 – Spinal Injuries

Lot 2 – Brain Injuries

Lot 3 – Ventilated Patients

Lot 4 – Domicillary Care Packages

Tenderers may bid for part or all of the above.
