Description of the contract

Jones & Shipman 1300X Grinding Machine and Jones & Shipman Ultramat Easy Machine LJMU would like to receive quotations for the 2 distinct operational requirements below 1. Re-commissioning Jones & Shipman Machines (x 2) (1300X Grinding Machine & Ultramat Easy machine) These two machines have been stored off site for almost 12 months. They have now been returned to site and placed in their final location. They have services connected and available. As part of re-ecommissioning, the following operations are anticipated • Level machine • Power up and check functions • Calibrate the machine • Confirm performance to original machine specification. In re-ecommissioning these machines, any parts used must be Jones and Shipman original parts or as specified by Jones and Shipman. All consumables and lubricants must be as specified in the Operational Manuals of the machines or as otherwise specified by Jones and Shipman. The re-commissioning work must be warranted for a minimum period of 12 months from completion, optionally 24 months from completion (please specify as a separate option) 2. Machine Tools Annual Service Contract (x2) (Including at least one routine service visit) The routine service visit must cover all identified service points in the Jones and Shipman operating manual and / or as otherwise specified by Jones and Shipman. In undertaking any service work during the service contract period, any parts used must be Jones and Shipman original parts or as specified by Jones and Shipman. All consumables and lubricants must be as specified in the Operational Manuals of the machines or as otherwise specified by Jones and Shipman. Any conditions relating to the interaction of the service contract and the warranty must be explicitly stated. All routine service visits under any service contract entered into by LJMU must be completed and invoiced prior to 31st May 2014.
