Description of the contract

Sight & Sound: The International Film Magazine was first published in 1932 and to this day maintains an international reputation as the leading magazine for those with a serious appreciation of film from all corners of the globe. The magazine has in the past enjoyed an extremely high subscriber retention rate partly as a result of our status as a ‘Journal of Record’ whose duty it is to review and provide credits and production information for every film that gets a theatrical release in the UK. As such we are perceived by a proportion of our readers as a ‘reference’ title and are therefore collected avidly by the serious film-buff as well as operating a substantial number of academic/library subscriptions. This also means that we manage an extensive library of Back Issues and generate regular sales from this library. We are looking to put in place a new contract with a subscription fulfillment bureau that will have full responsibility for the management of our print and digital subscription services, customer service functions, and back issue sales.
