Project No. 46314 Maintenance and periodic inspection of water systems under a comprehensive maintenance programme applied to properties controlled by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council owns or controls approximately 320 water systems in properties throughout the county.
The contract will cover the servicing and certification of water systems under a comprehensive maintenance programme applied to properties controlled by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The work will be carried out in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1999 and Health and Safety Commission Approved Code of Practice and Guidance Document L8 – “Legionnaires’ Disease – The control of legionella bacteria in water systems”. The contract will include a comprehensive maintenance program and the provision of a 24/7 call out service for emergency response to attend at any applicable location in the East Riding of Yorkshire within the prescribed times. Working restrictions will apply.
The contract duration will be for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend for a maximum of 5 years in annual increments. The estimated contract value is 215 000 GBP per annum. However, the estimated value is not guaranteed.
