The London Borough of Havering is seeking to let a contract for the maintenance, repair and on an occasion minor upgrades to individual properties of the existing TV/Satellite aerials and associated equipment and wiring. The installations range from blocks of 4 properties to high rise flats up to 15 Storeys. There are in the region of 6000 properties to which this services is provided.
The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of an extension of up to 6 months.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement,and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
