Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council are inviting expressions of interest for Maintenance, Service, Repair of Oil and Gas Fired Boilers, Burners, Appliances and Associated Equipment (including an Emergency ‘Out of Hours’ Call out Service) and Replacement of Boilers and Associated Equipment.
The contract will involve the contractor to undertake the minimum works:
1. Servicing of Boilers, Gas and Oil Burners, Warm Air Units, Direst Fired Water Heaters, Radiant Tube Heaters, Domestic Boilers and Domestic Gas Fires
2. Gas Soundness Tests
3. 24 Hour Emergency Call Out Services, 365 Days per annum with a 2 hour response time.
4. Servicing of booster sets and pressurisation units including expansion vessels
5. Servicing of all Circulating and Sump Pumps
6. Consequential repairs from servicing
7. Servicing of associated equipment
8. Inspection of Oil Storage Tanks
9. Replacement of Plant and Equipment identified through the serving including the design of same
The above works are to be carried out within the Borough of Sandwell:
Schools, Office Accommodation, Leisure Centres, Libraries etc together with School Caretaker houses
The approximate financial value of the works will be circa 1.2 million GBP over a 3-year period and the contract period will be a maximum 36 months with an option, dependant on performance and the discretion of the Council of a further 12 months.
The Authority does not guarantee this value.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Sandwell MBC will incorporate a standstill period at the point of communicating the evaluation outcome to tenderers.
