Sunderland City Council are looking to procure the design, supply, installation, deployment, maintenance and management of a number of ICT capabilities at a new building located at Tavistock Place, Sunderland.
While this space is targeted at the growth of businesses developing and deploying product offerings focused on software and related services, it will form the cornerstone of the Council and partner’s strategic intent to accelerate the growth of the burgeoning software and IT industry in Sunderland. To that end, the Council would look to enter into a contract with an organisation that has the capacity and ability to not only assist in the realisation of those aims but is willing to bring its own expertise to explore innovative opportunities to raise the initiatives national and international profile.
While Tavistock Place has an envisaged anticipated maximum capacity of 320 personnel, it is unlikely that the building will achieve this level of occupancy in the short term. It is expected that respondents to this procurement exercise will supply a scalable, incremental solution which will have the capability to grow and shrink to support the ongoing requirements of the tenants of the property.
Respondents should note that this procurement will fund the initial capital fit out of the building to ensure the base services are in place for a minimum set of tenants which includes support maintenance and onsite support. Future expansion of the services will be required to be funded by those tenants moving into the building.
Estimated capital cost: 1 000 000 GBP.
Period of the Contract will be for 3 years with 2×12 months extension options.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 1 000 000,00 GBP
