This advert supersedes OJEU ref 13/191-329875 Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a managed service partner to provide electrophysiology laboratory hardware with 3D mapping systems and hardware accessories. Force-sensing functionality, or similar, is essential. The systems will be required to fully integrate with existing EP recording systems and will work in parallel with our haemodynamic monitoring system. The appointed partner would also be expected to manage the provision of related consumable items inclusive of those which may be bespoke to the laboratory hardware and other specialised products required to provide the complete service: these generic items will be available from Trust or collaborative contracts awarded separately.

It is envisaged that the successful bidder will supply three sets of electrophysiology laboratory hardware with 3D mapping systems and hardware accessories. Force-sensing functionality, or similar, is essential. The systems will be required to fully integrate with existing EP recording systems and will work in parallel with our haemodynamic monitoring system. In addition the successful bidder will be responsible for the provision of related consumables, both bespoke and generic, necessary for the provision of the service with a current annual case profile of: 310 AF ablations; 60 VT ablations and 340 SVT ablations.
The Electrophysiology Managed Service Contract will be for 5 years with an option to extend for a further period of 2 years. It is envisaged that there will be a refresh of equipment/technology should the Trust decide to extend the Managed Service Contract beyond the initial contract period.
The Trust intends to issue a PIN for a larger Cardiac Managed Service later in the year and may wish to novate this contract into the larger procurement should the options be favourable.

1.
