Description

Derby City Council (DCC) are inviting tenders for the supply of services in respect of the delivery of the Super Connected Cities Programme. Services required include but are not limited to;

Managing, as part of the Digital City Programme, the delivery of the remaining £700,000 investment in Derby City Councils Super Connected Cities Programme

Managing the design and delivery of the ICT elements of the “Connect Derby” Project

Providing Tier 1 Technical support to the Connect buildings and other Client organisations such as QUAD and MUSA

Producing and management of all web and social media content for a number of sites, including but not limited to:

Spark Derby (Co-Working)
Surf the City (Wifi)
Take the City (Art and engagement)
Revolutionary Journeys (Wayfinding)

Advising DCC on the future-proofing of the management, maintenance and disposal of the good/services installed/carried out as part of the Super Connected Cities Programme.

The initial contract period is six (6) months; the contract is estimated to commence 5 January 2015 and expire 30 June 2015.

There will be an initial option to extend the contract for six (6) months, then a further option to extend for six (6) months. Subject to satisfactory performance, business needs and receipt of additional funding. Maximum contract period is eighteen months (18) months.
