— this is defined as the routine ongoing support for the Oracle system over the life time of the contract and upgrade to Release 12 in the 1st Year of the contract.
Software enhancement services:
— this is defined as an ad hock requirement to provide technical support to implement enhancements to the Oracle system.
The objectives for the project relate to the efficiency of the support arrangements, which is primarily measured by the performance and availability of the finance system defined as follows:
— provide business continuity for this core system,
— support the software from system failure and ensure optimal performance,
— provide the financial infrastructure to support the organisation in achieving corporate targets; and
— minimise the disruption to the day to day business to pay clients, suppliers, support management decisions, and to adhere to statutory reporting requirements whilst ensuring strong internal controls to support high standards of corporate governance.
