The impact of substance misuse, especially alcohol due to its prevalence, has a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of residents in Barnsley. Our aim is to support our residents to improve their overall health and wellbeing, and for the treatment system to ensure an increased focus on early intervention and prevention as well as the delivery of specialist treatment.
We intend to commission an effective service that provides a high quality, evidenced based and innovative approach to achieve positive outcomes for all those affected by substance misuse.
These services will start on 1 April 2016
Barnsley Council are hosting an event on the 27 March 2015, Starting at 10am-2pm at the Priory Campus, Pontefract Road, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S71 5PN.
A maximum of three attendees per organisation.
