Description of the contract

The Department for Transport (DfT) works with its agencies and partners to support the transport network that helps the UK’s businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is an agency of the DfT, tasked with overseeing driver and rider training. The Department for Transport wishes to commission research in order to gain a more detailed understanding of who is taking Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for learner motorcyclists, as it applies in England, Scotland and Wales. Potential Providers must first be registered on the Government Procurement Service e-Sourcing Suite. If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link ‘Register for GPS eSourcing’. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so at the Invitation to Tender stage.
