Description of the contract

As part of the SCOPE project, the required service involves the coordination of a pan European healthcare professional survey in collaboration with National Competent Authorities in 9 EU Member States. The primary objective of the survey will be to establish the attitudes, knowledge and preferences of healthcare professionals regarding safety communication methods and to use this feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of current tools. The study will be conducted in collaboration with National Competent Authorities with the Irish Agency (Health Products Regulatory Authority) acting as topic lead and the Spanish Agency (Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios ) acting as Work Package lead. The Member States participating in the survey will be Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, Italy and Croatia. Surveys will be conducted in the local language. The service provider will be required to perform the key activities which include the following (please refer to the survey technical specification for further information): 1) Optimisation of survey content and study design to maximise generalisability and outreach, ensure maximum response rates and minimise bias. 2) Establish survey validation requirements. 3) Provision of measures to support compilation, analysis and interpretation of results including provision of a comprehensive analysis plan.
