Admiralty, the Commercial Division of the UK Hydrographic Office, wishes to set up a small roster of primary and secondary research suppliers and consultants to help it understand the global market for shipping navigation products and services. The business is quite specialised and so all suppliers and agencies must be able to demonstrate significant experience in either the shipping market specifically or B2B markets with similar logistical characteristics or buying chains. We sell through a global network of distributors and experience of this sort of value chain is also useful. SME experience alone is not sufficient as our end customers are all multimillion pound organisations, so demonstrable exposure to large and multinational private sector businesses is essential.

The maximum number of sucessful tenderers for the framework will be 28, which will consist of a maximum 7 suppliers per research type.
