The Council started to develop its roundabout sponsorship scheme in 2009 when it launched its own sponsorship scheme. The scheme is still currently run in house.
The Council recently undertook a review of sponsorship and advertising opportunities across a variety of assets and it was decided that there is the potential to develop and expand Council advertising and sponsorship into new areas (“New Initiatives”).
The Council is therefore tendering for a Marketing Agent who will be appointed to develop, secure and renew both New Initiative and roundabout sponsorship.
The Council wishes to appoint an Agency Service Provider who will work with the Council to develop new initiatives for advertising and sponsorship within the Highlands and secure develop and renew existing roundabout sponsorship.

It is recognised however, that the Council operates in a unique environment and has a wide variety of assets that have the potential to generate income from advertising and sponsorship.
