The University of Strathclyde is now Scotland’s third largest university and one of the largest in the UK, with a world-wide reputation for its teaching and research. The University comprises four faculties: HASS, Science, Engineering and Business School — and has a total student population of around 20 000.
The University of Strathclyde wishes to appoint a media buying partner to deliver a targeted, effective and customer-responsive media campaigns. Primarily, however for the triple accredited Strathclyde Business School. The range of services across the University have in the past included: press campaigns, press supplements, online profiles, digital advertising platforms, google advertising and associated advertising options for social media.

Strathclyde Business School (SBS) wishes to appoint a media buying partner to deliver a targeted, effective and customer-responsive media buying services for a range of courses including MBA, Postgraduate and Undergraduate degrees. Such services include, but are not limited to press campaigns, press supplements, online profiles, digital advertising platforms, search engine advertising and associated advertising options for social media.
SBS aim to appoint a media buying partner who has influence in international markets to attract students from China and other international countries.

The University has reserved the right to extend this contract for 2 x 12 month periods.

The contracting authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the successful tenderer either intended as partial replacement of the supplies or installations or as the extension of existing supplies or installations. The contracting authority may at its sole discretion exercise this option.

The corresponding minimum standards are as follows:
4B.1.1 Bidders will be required to have an average yearly turnover of GBP 200 000 for the last 3 years.
Where turnover information is not available for the time period requested, the bidder will be required to state the date which they were set up or started trading.
4B.5.1 It is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold or can commit to obtain prior to the commence of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance indicated below:
— employer’s (compulsory) liability insurance = GBP 5 000 000,
— public liability insurance = GBP 2 000 000,
— professional indemnity insurance = GBP 2 000 000.

The value of the contract noted at section II.2.11) of this notice outlines the estimated value based on anticipated usage. Interested Parties shall note that the contracting authority has at section ** of this notice reserved the right to request additional deliveries by the successful tenderer either intended as partial replacement or supplies or installation or as an extension of existing supplies. Interested parties should note that should the contracting authority exercise this option the estimated value may increase by up to an additional 50 %.
