ATOC Limited is the trade association owned by each of the franchised train operating companies in Great Britain. ATOC is seeking an experienced and highly professional supplier to plan, purchase and execute media campaigns for three of the national Railcards – 16-25 Railcard, Senior Railcard and Family & Friends Railcard. The vast majority of the 475k GBP annual media budget is allocated to digital media, with the main aim of driving online sales.
16-25 Railcard – Costs 28 GBP for a 1-year card and 65 GBP for a 3-year card, available to anyone aged 16-25. Mature students in full-time education can purchase a 1-year card. The Railcard gives the holder one third discount off most fares (minimum fare at peak times). For further information see: www.16-25railcard.co.uk.

Senior Railcard – Costs 28 GBP for a 1-year card and 65 GBP for a 3-year card, available to anyone aged 60 or over, and gives one third discount off most fares (including First Class), peak time restrictions apply. For further information see: www.senior-railcard.co.uk.

Family & Friends Railcard – Costs 28 GBP for a 1-year card and 65 GBP for a 3-year card, available to anyone aged 16 or over for travel with children aged 5-15. There can be two named cardholders and a maximum of four adults and four children can travel on one card.
The Railcard gives one third discount off most adult fares and 60 % off most child fares, subject to a 1 GBP minimum fare. Peak time restrictions apply. For further information see: www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk.

Respondent’s will be required to demonstrate and provide evidence of the following:
Expertise in strategic cross media planning;
Expertise in traditional and digital media buying;
Expertise in delivering successful PPC campaigns;
At least three years experience of performing most if not all of the required areas of activity; and
A minimum track record of at least 3 years business in successfully carrying out similar large value (in the region of 1 000 000 GBP) national media campaigns for high profile clients and providing the necessary account management and support in respect thereof.
Experience of performing such activities in a rail transport or other transport environment would be advantageous.
