Description of the contract

As part of consumer policy an insight work, Ofgem is setting up a Consumer Challenge Group (CCG) to cover the development of the ED1 price control settlement for electricity distribution companies taking place over the course of the next 2 years

The CCG is being set up to act in an advisory capacity to provide consumer insight into some of the more complex issues that we are unable to address through, for example, primary market research. Its purpose is to ensure that the consumer view is being fully considered during the development of the price controls so that the package is fully fair on consumers and reflects the outcomes, reflected under RIIO.

Ofgem is looking for individuals to be members of our Consumer Challenge Group. The CCG will operate as a single committee and in the appointment of individual members we will seek bring a balance of expertise and knowledge covering the range of relevant issues. Full details contained in the ITT
