Description
Derbyshire County Council is looking to procure a programme of mental health awareness training for a period of 2 years.
The aim of these training courses is to develop participant understanding and knowledge of:
• what is meant by mental wellbeing and mental illness
• awareness of common mental health conditions and diagnoses
• the impact of stigma, myths and assumptions regarding mental ill health
• the impact of mental distress and illness on the individual, family, friends and colleagues
• information, support and services available both nationally and locally in Derbyshire
