Framework agreement to be awarded for Veolia Water Central Limited for the provision of a field system (lot 1) and meter data repository/meter data management (lot 2), or both the field system and meter data repository as an end to end solution (lot 3).
Veolia Water Central Limited serves 1 900 000 properties in the South East through 1 240 000 water connections. Currently over 500 000 connections are billed through a meter, the majority of which are read twice a year. This equates to 1 200 000 reads per year, increasing by an additional 50 000 reads year on year. Veolia Water Central Limited is looking to update its existing meter reading solution with one that meets current and future needs, increases meter reading efficiency and provides flexibility to increase deployment of remote / smart meter reading.
