Training – Microsoft Office

Description of the goods or services required

Argyll and Bute Council requires Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio and SharePoint training to be delivered to a wide range of employees as a result of training requirements as identified within the annual Performance Review and Development (PRD) process.

We require the courses to build around the participant’s individual needs in relation to the topic. We will aim to have specific details of delegate’s requirements to the trainer 2 weeks before the training.

All training must be delivered by Microsoft Accredited Trainers.

Manuals must be provided for each trainee on each course and should be included in the price quoted as per item. The training organisation would be required to provide laptops (including power extension cables) incorporating a training module for use by the delegates.

A full training day is typically 9.30 am – 4.30 pm however the Council and the training provider can be flexible around this through mutual agreement.

Training is required for the following:

MICROSOFT OFFICE 2010 TRAINING:

Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced courses will be required on the following topics:

Microsoft Word 2010

Microsoft Excel 2010

Microsoft Access 2010

Microsoft Outlook 2010

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

SHAREPOINT TRAINING

SPECIFIC SERVICES REQUIRED

This course will be delivered to a wide range of Council employees across the Argyll and Bute area including Lochgilphead, Oban, Campbeltown, Dunoon, Helensburgh and Islay.

The Council envisages the courses taking place between December 2014 and June 2015 and from September – June on a yearly basis. Number of days required and dates will be agreed in April/May of each year.

5 Other Information

Additional Information

You are invited by Argyll & Bute Council to quote for the provision of services detailed in the attached brief documentation. Your quotation must be received by 12 noon on the 07th October 2014.

It is the responsibility of all suppliers to ensure that their quotation response is received no later than the appointed time. Argyll & Bute Council may not consider quotations received after that time.

Argyll & Bute Council are not bound to accept the lowest priced or any quote and shall not be bound to accept the supplier as sole supplier. Prices quoted shall remain firm for the duration of the contract. Value Added Tax (VAT) should be shown separately and the VAT registration number given.

The quotation will be evaluated using the following criteria and weightings:
