Renfrewshire Council has decided to enter into a Secure Productive Enterprise (SPE) Agreement with Microsoft with an expectation of the contract being in place by 01.4.2017. The Agreement will include all current corporate users — approximately 4 200. As well as all of the products included within the SPE the agreement with Microsoft will cover SQL licensing and Project/Visio licensing. The transformation of current services to the SPE is expected to take between 1 and 2 years. The Council would look to the support partner to help define a plan that allows us to meet this timeframe.

Renfrewshire Council has decided to enter into a Secure Productive Enterprise (SPE) Agreement with Microsoft with an expectation of the contract being in place by 01.4.2017. The Agreement will include all current corporate users — approximately 4 200. As well as all of the products included within the SPE the agreement with Microsoft will cover SQL licensing and Project/Visio licensing.

The Business Case that was collated to inform the Council decision is predicated on the retiral of a range of products that are currently in use prior to the expiry date of existing contracts.

Given the scale of this work the Council has decided to appoint an Implementation Support Partner to guide and support the Council through this transition.

This work will be done mainly from Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required:

Employee Liability- statutory minimum 5 000 000 GBP each and every claim.

Public liability- minimum 1 000 000 GBP, each and every claim.

Professional indemnity- minimum 250 000 GBP, each and every claim (however, will accept cover in the aggregate so long as at least one automatic annual reinstatement of this sum is permitted in each policy year).

Motor — please request a valid MV certificate in the company name, or the standard company letter we require where there is no fleet and employees are using their own vehicles to fulfil the contract.

Please note tenderers are required to have a minimum Dun and Bradstreet Failure Score of 20, where this criteria is not met, tenderers should provide detail why and supporting evidence in the form of company accounts for the previous financial year.
