The key task is to provide Project Management expertise and support in the delivery of Milton Keynes Council’s Go Ultra Low City Programme covering a wide number of objectives.

The project and tasks are summarised below.
1. Establishing an Electric Vehicle Experience centre to demonstrate a wide range of electric vehicle to potential purchasers.
The key task in this commission is to provide project management support for the monitoring of the retail units activities, including reporting on achievement of targets and recommending action to keep the programme on track (or stretch performance) against to be set KPIs.
The initial task will be to establish and agree monitoring activity, and liaise with OLEV and then to report progress on a quarterly basis for 5 years of the programme. Monitoring of infrastructure installation and usage will also be required.
2. Installation of Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure throughout Milton Keynes.
The key task is to manage the delivery of a range of EV infrastructure equipment, liaising with the equipment supplier, the DNO (District Network Operators for power supply), the council’s highway department, other statutory undertakers and stakeholders for the delivery of infrastructure across Milton Keynes.
3. Delivery of a programme innovative infrastructure to advance EV infrastructure for the future.
The task will be to coordinate this activity within the overall programme. The management and delivery of this programme element will be subject to a separate tender this programme element is for 3 year programme with activity focussed on years 1 to 3.
