The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) wish to appoint one contractor, via a framework agreement, who has experience of multi-disciplinary works in very busy contraction aviation and commercial environment the work that will require: Civil Works Footways- Cycle ways Civil Works Taxi-way Civil Works Drainage Systems Ad Hoc Minor Civil Works Electrical Works – High Voltage and Low Voltage Ad Hoc Minor Electrical Works Access Control Installations Specialist Coating Industrial Building Surface Preparations Airfield security fencing installation Guttering & interceptor Replacement Water Treatment Facilities Replacement/Relocation works Equipment Hire Environment Cleaning Works Reptile Relocation Environmental Waste Removal Gas Safety & Installation works Supply of Materials & Goods Supply of Aggregate Materials & Consumable items Roof works Ad hoc General Works Specialist Coating Works Dry Rot Removal Open Space/ Allotments Design & Development The Framework Agreement will have a schedule of prices and rates that will need to be populated as part of the tender the period of 4 years allowing for flexibility with the development of Daedalus Enterprise Zone.

How to apply

The deadline for completed prequalification questionnaires has been extended from the original 28th March 2014 date to 11th April 2014 at 1pm. The Estimated Contract Value range is from one million pounds to four million pounds which is the minimum and maximum estimated spend for this Framework agreement over 4 years . The estimated range due to the amount of un-quantified amount of hazardous materials the need to be removed from site as part of this contract. As part of the procurement process, the HCA needs to be satisfied that you have systems in place for managing health and safety within your business. Organisations wishing to tender for HCA contracts must be registered and assessed by a prequalification assessment scheme which is a member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). This also applies to Non Construction companies. Registration and assessment must be in place prior to being invited to formally tender for the project or works. Further information on SSIP and details of assessment scheme members can be found on http://www.ssip.org.uk/ All discussions, meetings and communications will be conducted in English. The contract will be subject to English law. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in GBP and all payments under the contract will be made in GBP. This procurement and award is subject to the transparency arrangements being adopted by the UK Government. These arrangements include the publication of tender documentation issued by the HCA and the contract between the HCA and supplier. Bidders should highlight any areas they consider commercially sensitive in order for the HCA to be able to honour our transparency obligations without undermining the bidders commercial interests.
