Invest NI wish to appoint a suitably experienced service provider to provide specialist services for the development of up to 22 (maximum) downloadable mobile Applications that can be used by Local Councils to promote their respective Council areas to potential investors. The Service Provider appointed will develop the Council mobile Applications (Apps) using an existing framework developed in a pilot excercise. The Serivce Provider will not be required to develop a new mobile App.
Under the scope of this contract the appointed service provider will be expected to:
— Develop information / content as stipulated by Councils using an existing mobile App framework supplied by Invest NI;
— Develop the mobile App capability for Blackberry and to ensure it has the ability to run on the web via laptop PC and tablets;
— Upload information / content for Councils into downloadable mobile Applications (mobile web service) within the 6 months following award of the contract;
— Complete a successful transfer/handover of mobile App to Councils after installation within 6 months following ward of the contract; at this time all responsibility for content management will transfer to Council;
— Support, update and maintain the technical functionality of mobile App until 30.6.2015.
